Yay back to school.
Today I had my first innovation research methods class. My first project is to pick a research method, learn it, teach it to my class and then facilitate a workshop in it. My partner and I decided to choose the method, personal inventory. It's where you look at the material things a person keeps and try to analyze them.
Here's what's in my bag:
Wallet, keys, phone, sketchbook, pencil with cap, hand lotion, post it notes, sharpies and my tablet.

Sigh. Looks like Toronto won't get to see the Northern Lights after all. We've got light pollution, clouds and potential snow in the forecast.

Had dinner with one of my best friends tonight. She made this awesome pan fried bass with broccoli and carrots and plantain. Yum!

I started reading the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy a couple days ago. I saw the first two movies and couldn't wait for the third movie to come out.

Sol and Calla were coming back from Peru when their connecting flight to New York got diverted to Miami, then back to New York, then put up in a hotel, then not able to get a flight out for 2 days.
Calla managed to grab a flight back to Toronto and Sol took a flight to Buffalo, where Jen and I decided to make a road trip out to get him.
Then the airline lost Sol's luggage... But we're back home now and he has been reunited with Helo.
Jen and I miss the little fur ball already. :(
