Sol and Calla were coming back from Peru when their connecting flight to New York got diverted to Miami, then back to New York, then put up in a hotel, then not able to get a flight out for 2 days.
Calla managed to grab a flight back to Toronto and Sol took a flight to Buffalo, where Jen and I decided to make a road trip out to get him.
Then the airline lost Sol's luggage... But we're back home now and he has been reunited with Helo.
Jen and I miss the little fur ball already. :(

I don't usually do new years resolutions but I think I might try one this year. I'd like to read more. I have this insane need to feel productive all the time and I feel like fiction books are only for vacation time. So I buy all these non-fiction books because I feel it's more productive to be learning something but often I can't get through them because I find them boring. So I'm challenging myself to read more books this year including fiction as well as non-fiction (on top of school and my doodle series and a full time job lol). I'd love suggestions.

Had a super productive day today. Went to Home Depot twice. Installed casters on my storage drawers. Installed hooks for my broom, duster and floor mop. And went to Ryan's for awesome homemade cookies and chai tea. Yum.

My condo is usually really quiet, but tonight my neighbor decided to hook up his karaoke machine and turn it up full blast (at midnight no less).

Helo developed a squint today. Not sure what caused it but we are taking him to the vet tomorrow. :( breaks my heart when they're not feeling well.
